One famous Chap Fan place in butterworth, which was
formerly house in a wooden business premise at Beach Road, near the Ferry
jetty, have since relocated to a Place near Butterworth Town (due to a fire), and is now
operating from the front of Club Gold Champ formerly an old cinema (near a
famous roti canai outlet) along Jalan Kampong Gajah (See Map), just after the
Jalan Telaga Air Traffic Light as you head up north.
This Old School Chap Fan place which does not do much
dishes but is well known for 2 items Deep
fried Ikan Cincaru Stufffed with Sambal and Braised Pork Leg in soya sauce,
which every table will order.
Just the other day I drop by at the “New” place to try
them out. Yes they are still as good, in
fact at this place its even more convenient as there is parking.
