Hunting for Tim Sum In Butterworth

This is a Link Page, it links all my different Tim Sum Place reviews into one.  Which one is better?  Every one has different taste buds, Different tolerance and wants. So I leave it up to you.  I go for different place according to my daily requirements, eg Entertaining Ppl, taste etc    

Traditionally Tim Sum is usually consumed for Breakfast and / or Lunch with a pot of Chinese Tea, however in more cosmopolitan areas Tim Sum can also be found for Dinner and Supper. 

Majority Butterworth & Greater Butterworth Area  Tim Sum joints are traditional old school operations which typically open for breakfast and by lunch time are ending their operations with limited Tim Sum Avaliable.  

Sweet Paradise Tim Sum which many claim to be the oldest and best in operations (close alternate tue) is located off Jalan Heng Choon Thean, Butterworth end of the BKE, right infront of the Sri Bandar Market (Just a stone throw from the Butterworth Police Station / Butterworth Padang) .   It’s a 2 shop lot operation with a large covered road in front for more seating capacity.  (LINK 1) & (LINK 2)  they have recently up their game with more verity of tim sum.  

Chaw Choon Tim Sum the Newer, Shiny Version of Sweet Paradise, open  by a family member is located in Butterworth China Town,  Jalan Raja Uda / Jalan Ong Yee How Junction, right next to Hong Leong Bank, this 3 shop house restaurant open just a few years back.  Being in the commercial and housing area of butterworth has its rewards as its usually pack here daily.  Tim Sum here seems to be mainly filled wtih prawns, and their special dish is,  Poached Fish with Hor Fun. Teik Heng Tim Sum Restaurant located at Chai Leng Park, Perai dish up dainty Tim Sum in a compact one Shop Lot restaurant / kitchen.  Located in the thriving commercial Chai Leng Park area, right next to the Bustling Market, make this place good for yum char with a walkabout of the Market.  (Link)  

Chou Zhou Teow Chew Restaurant, also located at Chai Leng Park, Perai, is the only place (left) for Upmarket Tim Sum in an Air Condition Restaurant.  You will find more exclusive verity of Tim Sum here  (Link)  

Guardian Food Court, dish up tim sum for breakfast and for dinner,  Note :  the only Place where you can have Tim sum with Beer in Butterworth.  This is located off Jalan Raja Uda (South End)   (Link)
