Today lets discuss Budget Unlimited Mobile Data Plans, Currently there are2 true unlimited mobile data plans in the market.   U Mobile Unlimited Hero at RM78 and Webe,  TM Mobile Service Provider.  We really must read the fine print. 

Who Can benefited from Unlimited Mobile Data?

• For their own use,  (eg You are a one person household,  you do not need to put in streamyx or unifi, just get a Mobile data plan)
• Mobile People who is always on the go and not where wifi can be found easily, but required mobile data (eg  Especially Sales People, People who work out of office, Uber / Crabcar drivers)  

What do I mean by “true” unlimited mobile data plans? 

There is no limits to GB per month though there may be a cap in terms of speed, however the plan usually have a service that is chargeable  

What U Mobile Unlimited Mobile Data Plan?

RM 78 + 6%  get you unlimited mobile data & call   

Cons No Free SMS, MMS or video call Usage through Smart Phone only Video Onz Standard Definition only

Pro Unlimited Data but cap at 5mbs Non Stop Calling Hot Spot up to 10gb per month

My Conclusion : this plan is suitable for those who do not use sms, mms, video call on the phone line, usage of apps for such purpose is not a problem.

What Webe Unlimited Mobile Data Plan?

RM 79 + 6%, get you unlimited mobile data, call and SMS  

Con No Hotspot Allowed, unless charge Price / Offer For P1/TM net Subscribers To use webe certified phone   Mifi devices, not to be use

Pro The more lines you take, the cheaper you get for the next line, dropping to RM49 for the 4th and 5th line Unlimited Data (No cap mentioned) No Contract Required

My Conclusion :  this plan is suitable for those who do not have to hotspot / share data to other devices ie laptop and for very suitable for those who require more then one mobile data line,  This bring in to mind an Office where they are already using TM services, and have a few staffs running around requiring Mobile data for communications.  Or a Family with grown children.    

Overall Comment :  

Both plans are similar, with subtle difference for different niche market. One serve those who require limited Hotspot usage, but no sms's, the other cater for TM and P1 users, who require lots of lines but no Hotspot usage.
