A Bezza Journey - 1000km (1st) Inspection

 A Bezza Journey -  1st Inspection @ 1000Km

A question I came across in car forum is with regards to the 1000km “Service”, which to my understanding is basically nothing is being change, The Current Bezza 2018 version have a 1000km Free inspection

I would say it’s due to 1) the Current Technology which has lead to longer servicing period, 2) Perodua want to ensure that all is well with the vehicle, 3) to obtain feed back from the customers, 4) to familiarize customers with the service centres and method of operations.

So what the 1000km Inspection all about?  It’s basically an inspection of the Vehicle, and a chance to rectify items not up to Spec.  It "should" cost the customer RM 0  as there is no need to replace any consumables like engine oil.     I paid RM3 plus for a Battery Protector which I wanted to be fix.  They also attended to all the items I raise, going for 2 test drive.

So that the 1000K inspection. Short and Simple. Do note that there is a Term and Condition here for the “Free Inspection” which must be done within 2000km / 2 months.  Again there should be no charge, however in the forum I have hear of people saying they were charge as they were "recommended" certain accessories and consumables.  (Perodua Should look into this seriously, as this "hard sell" affect their image and "chase" customer away once the warranty period is over)

I wanted to Purchase an Extra Cargo / Luggage Net,  (One was provided with the car), however they say they don't have.  Curious.  Here we are, offering to increase their sales but.   Fact is Perodua should have their own car accessories outlet at least in Major Towns / State capitals,  they after all account for close to 40%- 50% of all new car sales in Malaysia.

While waiting at the Service Center (Perodua Branch), which is also a sales center, we had sofa seating waiting area, newspaper, magazines, n TV to amuse our self, and there is Free Coffee and Snacks as well.  Unfortunately no Wifi, (for that day/ or they dont provided this ), nor do I see plugs to recharge your devices.   Service Advisers was smiley and polite as always so no complaints here.

However, there are a few things that Perodua have to look into, on the service center conditions, little things that will affect their image, such as some of the Sofa was worn n torn, there were cobwebs hiding behind the blinds, but in general, the floor / walls was clean, well lit, & nicely set up.

Perodua Bezza 1.3lt - A Test Drive

The Beginning of a Bezza Journey.

update :  For more Bezza post, please click here
I have purchase the Bezza 1.3lt - Premium X model

Test Drive Vehicle was Provided by Perodua Dealer  for a short 15 min Test Drive.

I finally got a chance to Drive a Perodua Bezza 1,3lt, Malaysia top selling sedan, produce by Perodua.  the Variant i test drove is the Advance Version with all the bells and whistles, on some urban roads, with a small hill climb thrown in.  In the car was 3 Adults (1 overweight) & 1 child.

While it was a very short drive, due to time constrain, I came away impress (when compared with the previous sedans i drove), while the vehicle is already 2 years old, the ride was fun, punchy and solid, steering precise, with plenty of power available (speed up to 60kmph).  Didn't get a chance for Highway speed yet.

I do feel that the Advance version is just a bit too techy, to many things to fiddle about with, for a normal driver to appreciate, though for a Motohead, it would be fun, so we are eyeing a Premium X version, for a basic work commuting (long distance highway), or heading to Market / School .

My Wife opinion (Most important) is that seating at the back, it better then ,my previous Proton Wira 1.3, spacious, comfortable......   This car definitely have better power, pickup, and possible better fuel economy which could be due to its weight factor.

Our present Alza, will be use for high capacity passenger & or load carrying capacity and for long distance purpose.  We have decided to retire our Viva 1.0 EZ (Yes  we are a "all" Perodua family.) thanks to a special set of circumstances,  A Tax Holiday from GST b4 the SST is re implemented, fair resale value and a slight drop in Bank Loan Rate.

More to come once we take possession of the Vehicle

Oh Yes, if you need a Sales Advisor,  Just PM me with your details,  this SA, provides Nation wide service for all Perodua Cars,  just send documents via Whatapp.  ;)  no need to meet unless to test drive and to pick up the car.
